The entrance to the main beach is at the end of Beach Street, right at the center of town. As you walk down Beach Street you’ll come to a bridge which crosses over the Ogunquit River. Cross the bridge and you will be at the beach parking lots. People generally aren’t allowed on the beach at night, but many will bring their cars and sit in this parking lot. There’s also a trolley stop and some benches. These are good places to strike up a conversation with someone who seems friendly. Stop at the Village Food Market or Bread and Roses for a snack to take along.
